I believe it’s important to know a little about the person who you will be sharing your problems and issues with, so I thought I would start this website with an insight into my world.
I am a mature, warm and sensitive person who has devoted many years of working within the ‘caring’ profession and felt my desire to help people could be taken to another level.
This is one of the reasons I trained as an Integrative Counsellor, which includes working Psychodynamically, with the past and Humanistically, with the present - what’s going on ‘here and now’.
I have previously worked in Hospitals and Nursing Homes, looked after disabled children and adults and have a particular interest in Mental Health Issues.
I am a committed Mum and Grandmother and have much life experience.
Our sessions will not be boring, and hopefully my individuality will come through.
Often we are listened too but not heard. I will offer you a commitment of being listened too and heard within a confidential setting.
I endeavour to create a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere which hopefully will help you to share your thoughts and feelings with me, which all too often can be difficult to discuss with family and friends and those closest to you.
Without passing judgement I aim to help you through the areas you may be struggling with and I hope that by working together we will be able to find ways to enable change for the better - for the individual.
My practice is warm and welcoming and I look forward in sharing your journey with you.
